Focus Ireland, sponsored by Irish Rail, planned to organise a series of music sessions held at various Irish rail stations, to include Heuston, Pearse and Kent Cork. A range of high-profile Irish artists were invited to participate and all proceeds were to go to homeless causes supported by Focus Ireland.
One Productions worked with Focus, Irish rail and the individual artists to arrange pre-records at each of the participating stations – working between scheduled train timetables to achieve musical takes recorded on the platform. One Productions then live-streamed the sessions at promoted times on a number of platforms.
The station sessions achieved broad viewership and excellent listener feedback, and met Focus Ireland’s goals in terms of awareness and support for homeless charities.
